The development of the building savings in the Slovak Republic

Abstract:

The purpose of this bachelor thesis is to highlight the uncertainty of the development in housing savings in building societies in the Slovak Republic under the conditions that currently pertain. The “Wüstenrot Building Society, as " is used as an example. The work is divided into three chapters. The first chapter is devoted to the creation and development of housing savings in building societies.This chapter introduces the reader to the history of such savings in Europe and the Slovak Republic. The next part focuses on the general characteristics of housing savings in building societies, the legislative regime within which the system operates, basic concepts and the basic concepts of housing savings in building societies and the fundamental principle of regular savings are described. The second chapter focuses on the general characteristics of the Wüstenrot Building Society, a.s. This chapter introduces the reader to the conditions of housing savings in building societies and trendy products.The third chapter focuses on the development of housing savings in the selected example, the “Wüstenrot Building Society, a.s.” in 1993-2007. This concluding chapter is devoted to defining the situation of the building society within the building savings market and its future direction.

Abstract:

Cieľom bakalárskej práce je priblížiť problematiku vývoja stavebného sporenia v podmienkach Slovenskej republiky a vývoj stavebného sporenia na vybranom príklade ,,Wüstenrot stavebná sporiteľňa, a.s.“. Práca je rozdelená na tri kapitoly. Prvá kapitola je venovaná vzniku a vývoju stavebného sporenia. Oboznamuje čitateľa s históriou stavebného sporenia v Európe a v Slovenskej republike. V ďalšej časti je kapitola zameraná na všeobecnú charakteristiku stavebného sporenia, legislatívnu úpravu, základné pojmy, priebeh a princíp stavebného sporenia. Druhá kapitola charakterizuje Wüstenrot stavebnú sporiteľňu, a.s. Kapitola oboznamuje s podmienkami stavebného sporenia a aktuálnymi produktmi Wüstenrot stavebnej sporiteľne, a.s. Tretia kapitola je zameraná na vývoj stavebného sporenia vo Wüstenrot stavebnej sporiteľni, a.s. v rokoch 1993 až 2007. Záver kapitoly je venovaný zadefinovaniu stavebnej sporiteľne na trhu stavebného sporenia a jej smerovanie.
