Avifauna of the Chabarovice ponds (Ustí nad Labem district)

Abstract:

Okolí města Chabařovice v severozápadních Čechách je plné vodních ploch, které poskytují vhodné prostředí pro život velkému množství ptáků. Tato práce měla za cíl zjistit, jaké ptačí druhy se na lokalitě vyskytují, které z nich jsou ohrožené a které zde hnízdí či zimují. Výzkum byl proveden především pozorováním, ale i sběrem peří a nahráváním zpěvu, a to v letech 2010 a 2011, konkrétně měsících červnu a říjnu až dubnu. Zjištěno bylo celkem 52 druhů, z nichž 12 jich je ohrožených, 6 na území hnízdilo a 19 zimovalo.

Abstract:

The surroundings of the Chabařovice city in north-west Bohemia is full of water surfaces, which provide sufficient welfare for a large amount of birds. This research was done in the task of finding out which birds species are present in this area, which of them are endagered and which of them are breeding or wintering here. The research was done in years 2010 and 2011, specifically in June and from October to April. The metods used were observation, the feather collecting and recording of bird song. 52 species were found altogether, 12 of them are endangered, 6 of them breeding here and 19 wintering.
