Abstract:

Cílem mé bakalářské práce je využití pojmu „alterace“ Tomáše Kulky při analýze procesu tvorby uměleckých děl Cézannovy série reprezentací hory Sainte-Victoire, která zachycuje malířův přechod od impresionismu k postimpresionismu a vzniku moderního umění. V první části práce je krátce představen filosof Tomáš Kulka, jsou nastíněny jednotlivé druhy autocenzury především v umění a pojem alterace podle Kulky, na kterou naváže určení estetické hodnoty pomocí hodnotových soudů. Dále je popsán pojem umělecké hodnoty a jeho souvislost s hodnotou estetickou. Také je zmíněna specifická podstata identifikovatelnosti kýče a jeho hlavní odlišnost od kvalitního uměleckého díla. Druhá část práce je zaměřena na malíře Paula Cézanna a jeho sérii maleb hory Sainte-Victoire, kterou v rozmezí let 1860 – 1906 často zobrazoval na svých plátnech. Umělec Paul Cézanne k sobě byl celý život přísný a hledal metody uměleckého ztvárnění, kterými by na svých obrazech zachytil takový barevný kontrast, jež by vytvářel trojrozměrný tvar objektů a zobrazoval hloubku. Za pomoci alterací, které Kulka definuje jako „změny, které nenaruší základní percepční Gestalt díla“, je z dochovaných dopisů a svědectví přátel zpracována umělecká analýza, kdy sám malíř Paul Cézanne svými názory hodnotí kvalitu svého díla.

Abstract:

The aim of my bachelor thesis is to use the term of “alteration” by Tomáš Kulka in the analysis of the Cézanne series of works of art, representing the Sainte-Victoire Mountain, which captures the painter's transformation from Impressionism to Post-Impressionism and the creation of modern art. In the first part of my work it is briefly introduced philosopher Tomáš Kulka, individual types of self-censorship are described mainly in art and it was defined the term of alteration according to Kulka, which will establish the determination of aesthetic value through aesthetic value judgments. Also it has been described the concept of artistic value and its relation to aesthetic value. It has been also mentioned the specific essence of kitsch identifiability and its main distinction from a high-quality of artwork. The second part of my work is focused on the painter Paul Cézanne and his series of paintings of Sainte-Victoire, which he frequently portrayed on his canvases between 1860 and 1906. Artist Paul Cezanne has been critical of himself all his life and he was looking for methods of artistic rendering that would capture in his paintings such a color contrast that would create a three-dimensional shape of objects and display the depth. With the help of the alterations that Kulka defines as "changes that do not disturb the basic perception of Gestalt work", an artistic analysis is made of the surviving letters and testimonies of friends, when the painter Paul Cézanne himself judges the quality of his work.
