Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá americkou židovskou literaturou, která se jako imigrantská literatura dostala do širšího povědomí čtenářů po druhé světové válce. Práce rozebírá především ty americké židovské autory, kteří ve svých dílech využívají témat židovství a židovské tradice. Abstract:
This thesis deals with Jewish American literature that has emerged in the post-war years. The thesis is mainly focused on the group of authors who use their origin and cultural background in their novels. The attention is paid to the theory of “applicable past”which are concerned with immigrant writers and their fictional themes.
