The study of factors affecting the application of calcium and magnesium in growing broilers

Abstract:

Cílem práce je studovat vliv rozdílných hladin vápníku a hořčíku v dietách rostoucích brojlerových kuřat a vyhodnotit parametry výkrmu, výtěžnost hlavních masitých částí, obsah prvků ve tkáních a morfometrické vlastnosti stehenních kostí. Celkem byly provedeny čtyři experimenty, ve kterých byl sledován vliv přídavku minerálních látek (experiment č. 1 – Ca a Mg, experiment č. 2 – Mg, experiment č. 3 – Ca, experiment č. 4 – Ca a Mg). V prvním a druhém experimentu nebyla rozdílnými hladinami vápníku a hořčíku ovlivněna konečná živá hmotnost kuřat. Vysoké hladiny vápníku (14 a 15 g/kg; ve třetím a čtvrtém pokusu) v dietě zhoršily konečnou živou hmotnost vykrmovaných kuřat ve srovnání se skupinami kuřat přijímající v dietě normativní obsah vápníku (kontrolními skupinami; 1607,2 g vs. 2114,4 g; 1423,2 g vs. 1961,4 g). Obsah Ca a Mg v jaterní, krevní a kostní tkáni v prvním a druhém pokusu nebyl krmným ošetřením ovlivněn. Ve třetím pokusu byl analyzován nejvyšší obsah vápníku v játrech (179,7 mg/kg) ve skupině kuřat Ca14Mg2,1 přičemž obsah Mg nebyl ovlivněn. Obsah sledovaných prvků v krevní plazmě nebyl ve třetím pokusu nijak ovlivněn. Ve stehenních kostech kuřat skupiny Ca7Mg2,1 byl analyzován nejvyšší obsah vápníku (152,4 g/kg) a nejvyšší obsah hořčíku (3,80 g/kg) byl zjištěn ve skupině Ca4Mg2,1. Ve stehenních kostech kuřat skupiny Ca2Mg4,4 (čtvrtého pokusu) byl analyzován nejvyšší obsah hořčíku (6,60 g/kg) a zároveň nejnižší obsah vápníku (115,4 g/kg) ve srovnání s ostatními skupinami. Na základě výsledků našich experimentů můžeme konstatovat, že z pohledu růstových parametrů kuřat je aktuální, normami doporučovaná, hladina Ca a Mg dostatečná pro optimální růst brojlerových kuřat vykrmovaných do živé hmotnosti cca 2,5 kg, zatímco u parametrů kvality kostí byly výsledky nejednoznačné.

Abstract:

The aim of this work is to study the effect of different levels of calcium and magnesium in diets of growing broiler chickens and to evaluate performance parameters, carcass yield, content of elements in tissues and morphometric properties of femurs. A total of four experiments were performed in which the effect of mineral addition was monitored (Experiment No. 1 - Ca and Mg, Experiment No. 2 - Mg, Experiment No. 3 - Ca, Experiment No. 4 - Ca and Mg). In the first and the second experiment, the different live weights of the broilers were not affected by different levels of calcium and magnesium. High levels of calcium (14 and 15 g/kg; in the third and fourth experiment) in the diet worsened the final live weight of the fattened chickens compared to the groups of broilers receiving the normative calcium content in the diet (control groups; 1607.2 g vs. 2114.4 g 1423.2 g vs. 1961.4 g). The content of Ca and Mg in liver, blood and bone tissue in the first and second experiments were not affected by the feed treatment. In the third experiment, the highest calcium content in the liver (179.7 mg/kg) was analyzed in the Ca14Mg2.1 group, while the Mg content was not affected. The content of the monitored elements in the blood plasma was not affected in the third experiment. The femoral bones of Ca7Mg2.1 group were analyzed for the highest calcium content (152.4 g/kg) and the highest magnesium content (3.80 g/kg) was found in the Ca4Mg2.1 group. The femurs of the Ca2Mg4.4 group (fourth experiment) were analyzed for the highest magnesium content (6.60 g/kg) and the lowest calcium content (115.4 g/kg) compared to the other groups. Based on the results of our experiments, can be state that from the point of view of growth parameters of broilers, the current level of Ca and Mg is sufficient for optimal growth of broiler chickens fattened to a live weight of about 2.5 kg, while the bone quality parameters were uncleared.
