Softvérovo definované siete sú pomerne novým konceptom vo svete sietí. Hlavným princípom je separácia správy zariadení a jej centralizácia. Táto práca predstavuje SDN siete a zaoberá sa migráciou z tradičných sietí, ktorá v drvivej väčšine prípadov je rozdelená do viacerých fáz.
