Dramaturgy of the Theatre Divadlo U stolu

Abstract:

Brněnské Divadlo U stolu bylo z iniciativy herce, dramaturga a režiséra Františka Derflera založeno na přelomu let 1988/1989, v době rozmachu nonverbálního divadla a oslabeného zájmu o mluvené slovo, jako společenství přátel snažících se čelit potlačování české kultury prostřednictvím scénických čtení či inscenování textů zakázaných autorů doprovázených jen náznakovými, avšak významově rozsáhlými scénickými prostředky. Má práce se věnuje jeho dramaturgickému směřování, které v průběhu času prošlo jistou evolucí, ovšem základní myšlenku, a to myšlenku vytvořit chudé divadlo pracující s bohatou škálou významových a výrazových možností dramatického textu, si zachovalo i do dnešních dob. Své teze o dramaturgickém zaměření této scény jsem se pokusila prokázat prostřednictvím analýz šesti inscenací, a to tří pravidelných dramat světově proslulých autorů a tří adaptací české poezie a prózy.

Abstract:

In 1989 director and actor František Derfler established Divadlo U stolu as one of the initiatives against communist regime which had repressed many authors of that time. The aim of my work was to analyse the dramaturgical drift of this theatre that is – thanks to its authors and their creations – very special phenomenon among Brno’s cultural institutions. The main idea of František Derfler and his closest cooperator, scenographer Milivoj Husák was to run the disengaged theatre which would work with the wide range of semantic and expressional options of dramatic text. Except the work with poets‘ words, minimalist stage design and precise dramatic art with emphasis on perfect diction are probably the most important elements of local dramaturgy.
