Alternativní zdroje energie - malé solární elektrárny - se dnes uplatňují zejména v místech, kde chybí klasické rozvody energie. Tyto doplňkové zdroje energie mívají nejčastěji výkony jednotek až desítek kW, i když ve světě existují solární fotovoltaické elektrárny s výkony až desítek MW. Alternative energy sources - small solar power stations - are nowadays mainly used on places, where there is lack of classical energy partings. These additional energy sources often reach the effect of units to tenths of kW. Although solar photovoltaic power stations with an effect of tenths MW do exist.
