Strategic Management of Human Resources in the Československá obchodná banka

Abstract:

Main goal and also the topic of my diploma work is the realization of human resources management analysis in CSOB, a. s. based on gained theoretical knowledge as well as the suggestion of human resources management strategy in this bank. The work is divided into three chapters. First chapter deals with the theoretical principles of strategic management of human resources. It also characterizes and explains the main concepts like e.g. human resources, personnel management, working process which are essential for comprehension of this issue. Second chapter builds the core of the work. It is focused directly on the CSOB bank a. s. It starts with the introduction and historical overview of the bank so that the reader knows what company the work is about. It continues with the bank objectives what about strategic management and particular form of human resources management especially recruitment of new employees, their further education, career promotion inside the company, motivation of employees and bonuses as well as the employment contract ending. Final part is focused on my own suggestions, recommendations and ideas for improvement of the strategic management in CSOB, a. s., particularly improving the cooperation with Secondary Schools and Universities, new benefits like e.g. introduction of company kindergarden or psychological counselling, ...

Abstract:

Hlavnou témou a zároveň cieľom diplomovej práce je na základe získaných teoretických poznatkov jednotlivých oblastí riadenia ľudských zdrojov uskutočniť ich analýzu v ČSOB, a. s., a navrhnúť stratégiu jej riadenia ľudských zdrojov. Práca je rozdelená do troch hlavných kapitol. Prvá kapitola sa zaoberá teoretickými východiskami strategického riadenia ľudských zdrojov. Zároveň charakterizuje a vymedzuje základné pojmy, ktoré sú potrebné na porozumenie témy, ako napríklad ľudské zdroje, personálny manažment, pracovný proces. Druhá kapitola tvorí jadro práce. Je zameraná priamo na banku ČSOB, a. s. Začína jej predstavením a históriou, aby sme vedeli, akej spoločnosti sa práca týka. Ďalej nasledujú ciele banky v strategickom riadení a konkrétnu podobu riadenia ľudských zdrojov: od prijímania zamestnancov, cez ich vzdelávanie a kariérny postup v rámci spoločnosti, motiváciu a odmeňovanie zamestnancov, po skončenie pracovného pomeru. Záverečná, tretia časť práce je venovaná vlastným návrhom, odporúčaniam a nápadom na vylepšenie strategického riadenia v ČSOB, a. s., konkrétne rozšírením spoluráce so strednými a vysokými školami, novými benefitmi, napr. zavedením firemnej škôlky a psychologického poradenstva, ...
