Issue of grants in business company (with a focus on the field of culture)

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice dotací. Nejprve obsahuje úvod do teorie dotací a následně se komplexně věnuje právní úpravě dotací v oblasti účetnictví, a to jak z pohledu české účetní legislativy, tak z pohledu Mezinárodních účetních standardů, ve kterých se dotacím věnuje standard IAS 20. Praktická část je zaměřena na proces získání a vyúčtování dotace od vybraných poskytovatelů jak z České republiky, tak ze zahraničních zdrojů, které jsou nakonec přiblíženy rozborem konkrétních dotací ve vybraném podniku, jehož hospodaření je závislé na přijatých dotacích.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focusing on the area of grants. The theory of grants is a significant part of introduction and then the next part of the thesis is related to the complexity of accountancy legislation of grants, from the perspective of Czech Accounting Standards and even the perspective of International Financial Reporting Standards, in which the core source of rules is IAS 20. Practical part focuses on the process of obtaining and billing of grants from selected providers both from the Czech Republic and from foreign sources. Those are further introduced on the example of pre-chose company whose financial health is depended on received grants.
