String quartet through the changes of time focusing on Turtle Island Quartet

Abstract:
Práce se zabývá přehledem vývoje smyčcového kvarteta a jeho proměnami během dějin. Zároveň představuje jeho nové pojetí v současnosti a to prostřednictvím kapitoly o souboru Turtle Island Quartet. Popisuje historii tělesa a inovace, které vnesli do tradiční formy smyčcového kvarteta.
Abstract:
The work deals with an overview of the development of the string quartet and it‘s transformations throughout history. It also represents a new concept in the present by chapters about Turtle Island Quartet. It describes the history of the Quartet and innovations that have brought to traditional forms of string quartet.
