Role of family in development of sexuality hearing difficulties

Abstract:

Sexuální výchova v rodině velmi významně ovlivňuje rozvoj sexuality dítěte se sluchovým postižením. V mé bakalářské práci popisuji, jaké informace, postoje, názory a hodnoty by měla rodina předávat dětem se sluchovým postižením. Především rodiče by měli zajišťovat sexuální výchovu dítěte, a proto je tato práce zaměřena zejména na ně. Ve třech kapitolách teoretické části mé bakalářské práce se zabývám sluchovým postižením, jeho klasifikací a způsoby komunikace, sexualitou a partnerstvím v životě osob se sluchovým postižením, sexuální výchovou v rodině dítěte se sluchovým postižením, jednotlivými složkami této výchovy a prevencí patologických jevů souvisejících se sexualitou. V praktické části zjišťuji, zda a v jaké míře probíhá sexuální výchova v rodinách dětí se sluchovým postižením.

Abstract:

Sex education in family is very influential in the development of children´s sexuality, especially who suffer from hearing impairment. In my bachelor thesis I describe what information, attitudes, opinions and values should be given to children with hearing impairment by their parents. Children should be given good information about sex education mainly by their parents, and thus this thesis is focused principally on them. In the three chapters of the theoretical part of my bachelor thesis I am engaged in hearing impairment, its classification and forms of communication, sexuality and partnership in the life of people with hearing impairment, sex education in families, which are comprised of children with hearing impairment, individual components of this education, and the prevention of pathological phenomena related to sexuality. In the practical part, I try to find out whether sex education is used in practice in families with children hearing-impaired, and to what extent.
