Computational modeling of aspherical granular materials
Abstract:
V této práci byl zkoumán vliv asféricity na proces granulárního míchání. Pro generování asférických částic byl vybrán model superquadrics. Zkou- mané asférické geometrie měly tvar koule, válce a krychle. Simulace mí- chání byly provedeny v cylindrickém mixéru se dvěma zkosenými lopatkami pod úhlem 45 ve dvou rychlostech otáčení a to 15 a 150 rpm. Abstract:
In this work, the effect of asphericity on the granular mixing process was investigated. The superquadrics model was chosen to generate aspheric particles. The investigated aspheric geometries were spherical, cylindrical and cubic in shape.
