The importance of the grants of European union for an agricultural enterprise

Abstract:

Tématem mé bakalářské práce je význam dotací z EU pro zemědělský podnik. V teoretické části, která je vypracována pomocí odborné literatury, popisuji zemědělství před vstupem ČR do Evropské unie a jeho následné změny, které byly zapříčiněny právě vstupem do EU. Dále v teoretické části popisuji jednotlivé dotační programy, které v ČR fungovaly před vstupem České republiky do Unie a především ty, které jsou aktuální v současnosti. Na dotační programy pak navazuji v praktické části práce, kde jsem se zaměřila na konkrétní podnik Voldřich a syn. U jmenovaného podniku jsem zjišťovala, zda malé i velké zemědělské podniky čerpají finanční prostředky z Evropské unie stejně, nebo jestli jsou velké podniky upřednostňovány. Tyto poznatky shrnuji na závěr práce, ve kterém jsem dospěla ke zjištění, ţe velké podniky jsou opravdu před malými podniky upřednostňovány. Malé podniky se ve většině případů musí vystačit s národními platbami.

Abstract:

The topic of my bachelor thesis is the importance of the EU grants for an angricultaral enterprise. In the theoretical part, which is created by using the scientific literature describing agriculture before accession of the Czech Republic to the European Union and its subsequent amendments, which were just caused by entering the EU. Next in the theoretical part the various subsidy schemes are described which had operated in the CR before the Czech Republic joined the Union, especially those that are current today. The grant programs are followed in the practical part, where I focused on a specific company Voldřich and son. In this company I was trying to find out if small farms are funded from the European Union as well as large farms, or if large firms are preferred. These findings are summarized in the conclusion of the work in which I came to the conclusion that large companies are really preferred over small businesses. Small businesses in most cases, have to make do with national payments.
