Indoor Enviroment Monitoring Using the Arduino Platform

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce má za cíl analyzovat a navrhnout HW a SW architekturu stanice pro monitorování vnitřního prostředí, implementaci a ověření řešení. Práce zahrnuje přehled současných řešení a popis platformy Arduino. Jedná se o open-source elektronickou platformu, která je založená na snadno použitelném hardware a software. Programovací jazyk Arduina je podmnožinou jazyka C++. Hlavní (praktická) část práce se zabývá návrhem měřící stanice, výběrem komponent a implementací stanice, stejně tak i návrhem a implementací serverové aplikace pro uložení dat a jejich prezentaci.

Abstract:

The primary goal of this thesis is to analyse and design HW and SW architecture of station for monitoring indoor enviroment, implementation and verification of the solution. This work involves review of current solutions and description of the Arduino platform. It is open-source electronics platform based on easy-to-use hardware and software. The Arduino programming language is a subset of C++ language. The main (practical) part of this thesis is focused on design of measuring station, component selection and implementation of the station, as well as design and implementation of the server application for data storage and their presentation.
