Russia as the master shaper of the Arctic
Abstract:
Tato diplomová práce se zabývá pozicí Ruské federace v arktické oblasti. Práce se zprvu věnuje aktérství a definici formátora, neboli shaper. Nicméně, pozornost je následně věnována narativům a strategickým dokumentům týkající se arktické ruské politiky. Poslední část práce zkoumá Ruskou federaci jako formátora dané oblasti s přihlédnutím na spojitost sovětských narativů a arktických strategiích.
Abstract:
The thesis deals with the position of the Russian Federation as the shaper of the Arctic region. The analysis is based on theoretical methodology concerning the concept of actorship, shaper definition, narratives and foreign policy. Lastly, the thesis will focus on the connection between the aged narratives and the Arctic strategies of the Russian Federation.
