Two Variations of Socio-political Journalism between 1990-1995

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá typologickou problematikou zastoupení a forem společenské a politické žurnalistiky v kontextu české literární kultury v období let 1990-1995. V této práci se zabýváme obsahovou analýzou týdeníků Reflex a Respekt ve vybraných tématech, v návaznosti na dobový kontext. Analyzované otázky jsou následně komparovány mezi týdeníky. Práce poukazuje na nejdůležitější prvky kritické žurnalistiky ve vztahu k analyzovaným otázkám doby.

Abstract:

This thesis focuses on the typological issues of representation and the forms of social and political journalism in the context of Czech literature culture in the years of 1990-1995. This thesis works with contents analysis of the weekly magazines Reflex and Respekt and chosen topics in relevance to the chosen era. The analysis questions are then compared between these weeklies. The thesis shows the most important elements of critical journalism in the relation to the analyzed questions of the era.
