The transit program from the parent's perspective

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá tranzitním programem z pohledu rodičů. Teoretická část vymezuje zdravotní postižení, mentální postižení, zabývá se rodinou s dítětem s postižením, funkcí rodiny, vztahem rodičů k dítěti s postižením, obdobím dospívání u osob s mentálním postižením, partnerskými vztahy rodičů dítěte s postižením, syndromem prázdného hnízda. Dále charakterizuje podporu v oblasti předprofesní a profesní přípravy, význam pracovního uplatnění, diagnostiku profesní orientace, poradenství ohledně volby povolání, tranzitní program, zaměstnávání osob se zdravotním postižením a problémy při hledání práce. Praktická část analyzuje názor rodičů na tranzitní program a jeho vliv na jejich děti. Na základě získaných informací jsou v závěru praktické části uvedena doporučení sloužící ke zlepšení situace v oblasti spolupráce s rodiči a v tranzitním programu.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the transit program from the parents perspective. The theoretical part defines the disability, the mental disability, a family with a child with a disability, family functions, the relationship of parents to children with disabilities, the coming of age for persons with mental disabilities, partner relationships of parents of a child with a disability, empty nest syndrome. In addition, characterizes the support in the area of pre-vocational and vocational training, the importance of the work, diagnostics of professional orientation, advice on the choice of profession, a transit program, the employment of people with disabilities and the difficulties in finding a job. The practical part analyzes the views of parents to the transit program and its effect on their children. On the basis of the information received are listed at the end of the practical part of recommendations designed to improve the situation in cooperation with the parents and in the transit program.
