Cílem této diplomové práce je zhodnotit plnění cíle vzdělávání v rámci Strategie Evropa 2020 ve vybraných regionech a zjistit, jaké faktory přispívají ke zjištěným výsledkům. K hodnocení je využita deskripce a rešerše odborné literatury, metoda komparace, explanace a analýzy stěžejních indikátorů, které jsou spojeny s oblastí vzdělávání.
