Attack of active shooter

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá útokem aktivního střelce a otázkou, jakým způsobem zlepšit připravenost policistů Policie České republiky na tento typ mimořádné události a dále pak zefektivněním spolupráce všech složek integrovaného záchranného systému na místě této mimořádné události. Teoretická část je zaměřena na charakteristiku osobnosti pachatele a místa, kde dochází k nejčastějším útokům aktivního střelce. Je zde popsána modelová situace, která se zabývá problematikou ,,AMOK" a jsou zde uvedeny příklady nejznámějších útoků aktivních střelců v České republice i zahraničí. Rovněž tato část přibližuje činnost složek integrovaného záchranného systému při mimořádné situaci "AMOK" a činnost prvosledových hlídek Policie České republiky. Poté jsou v praktické části zhodnoceny výsledky dotazníkového šetření týkající se proškolení, výcviku a celkové znalosti mimořádné události "AMOK" všech složek integrovaného záchranného systému. Na základě získaných výsledků jsou následně stanoveny závěry.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with an attack of active shooter and the question, how to improve the preparedness of police officers of the Czech Police to this type of extraordinary event. It also concentrates on the efficiency improvement of cooperation of all units of the integrated rescue system at the scene of this extraordinary event. The theoretical part focuses on the personality characteristics of the offender and places where the most attacks of the active shooter take place. There is described a model situation that deals with "AMOK" issues and examples of the best-known attacks of active shooters in the Czech Republic and abroad are mentioned. This section also describes activities of the units of the integrated rescue system in the emergency situation "AMOK" and activities of the first-line patrols of the Police of the Czech Republic. Then, in the practical part, the results of the questionnaire survey on training and overall knowledge of the "AMOK" extraordinary event of all units of the integrated rescue system are evaluated. Based on the results obtained, conclusions are subsequently established.
