Theoretical description of electrical breakdown

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou dějů, které nastávají v dielektrikách po jejich vložení do elektrického pole. V další části jsou popsány teorie přeskoků, průrazů a pohybů náboje v plynných, pevných a kapalných izolantech. Na tuto část navazuje samotný experiment, ve kterém se zjišťovala závislost hodnoty přeskokového napětí na měnících se podmínkách na povrchu izolantu.

Abstract:

The master´s thesis deals with the problems of the processes which happen in dielectrics when put into electric field. Further there are described theories of discharge, breakdown and motion of a charge in gaseous, solid and liquid insulants. This part is followed by the experiment itself, in which the dependence of the discharge voltage´s value on the changing conditions of the insulant´s surface was being measured.
