Natality as a demographic-social phenomenon and its progress in the Czech Republic from the year 2001 to the present

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá otázkou porodnosti jako důležitého demograficko-společenského jevu, jejími ekonomickými aspekty a možnostmi populační politiky. Analyzuje porodnost na území České republiky v průběhu 20. století, podrobněji pak vývoj od roku 2001 po současnost, ten je také předmětem mezinárodního srovnání v rámci Evropské unie. Součástí práce je i výzkumné šetření zaměřené na ženy ve věku 20 až 30 let.

Abstract:

This work deals with the problem of natality as the important demographic-social phenomenon, its economical aspects and possibilities of the population policy. Following is the analysis of progress of the natality in the area of the Czech Republic in the 20th century and in more details from the year 2001 to the present. This progress is also subject of international compare with other states of the European Union. The work also comprehends the question-form inquiry, which I have made among the group of 20-30 years old women.
