Computing Eigenvalues of Matrices

Anotácia:

Tato práce se zabývá hledáním vlastních čísel a vlastních vektorů matic. Práce obsahuje popis hledání oblastí, v nichž leží vlastní čísla, a vlastnosti vlastních čísel speciálních typů matic. Dále se zabývá hledáním vlastních čísel matic o největší absolutní hodnotě pomocí mocninné metody a transformací matic k nalezení dalších vlastních čísel. Teorie je doplněna příklady a popisem výpočtu těchto příkladů pomocí přiložené knihovny skriptů v jazyce Matlab.

Abstract:

This work concerns with searching for eigenvalues and eigenvectors of matrices. The work contains a description of the regions, the eigenvalues lie in, and eigenvalues properties of special types of matrices. Next, this concerns with searching for the eigenvalues of matrices with the highest absolut value by power method and transformations of matrices for finding next eigenvalues. The theory is supplemented with examples and description of this examples computation by an appandant scripts library in Matlab language.
