Cieľom tejto práce je vytvoriť poloautomatický nástroj na odhad výšky snehu zo snímkov z fotopascí, ktoré snímajú drevené palice v okolí Mendelovej polárnej stanice na Antarktíde. V práci prezentujeme procedúru na automatické vyhľadanie pozícií palíc a ich dĺžok, založenú na technikách spracovania digitálneho obrazu. Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to develop a semi-automatic tool for estimating snow depth from time-lapse photography of wooden sticks positioned at the vicinity of the Mendel Polar Station in Antarctica. We present an image processing approach to automatic extraction of stick positions and their lengths.
