Automation system for web application deployment

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to design and implement information system for automatic deployment of web applications to remote production servers and monitoring applications on production servers. The system also includes an agent that is designed for continuous running on production servers and is able to establish communication from servers that are not accessible from the Internet. The paper describes the current status of existing solutions that addressed this topic. Then follows analysis and design of our solution. Part of this work is the implementation of a functional prototype of an information system that solves a given problem.

Abstract:

Cieľom diplomovej práce je navrhnúť a implementovať informačný systém pre automatizované nasadzovanie webových aplikácií na vzdialené produkčné servery a monitorovanie aplikácií na produkčných serveroch. Súčasťou systému je aj agent, ktorý je určený na nepretržitý beh na produkčných serveroch a umožňuje nadviazanie komunikácie zo serverov, ktoré nie sú z internetu dostupné. V práci je popísaný súčasný stav existujúcich riešení, ktoré sa danou problematikou zaoberajú. Nasleduje analýza a návrh vlastného riešenia. Súčasťou práce je implementácia funkčného prototypu informačného systému, ktorý rieši zadaný problém.
