Study Materials for Field Practice in Zoology – Invertebrates

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce bylo vytvořit studijní příručku k předmětu Terénní cvičení ze zoologie, která zahrnuje suchozemské bezobratlé. Práce obsahuje seznam převážně běžně se vyskytujících druhů. Seznam zahrnuje české i vědecké názvy a řazení druhů odpovídá současnému taxonomickému zařazení. Kapitoly obsahují stručnou charakteristiku vyšších taxonů a popis základních poznávacích znaků vybraných nejběžnějších druhů a rodů suchozemských bezobratlých, včetně jejich typických habitatů. Popis je doprovázen fotografiemi. Práce je doplněna metodikou sběru živočišného materiálu. K této práci byly vytvořeny webové stránky, kde mimo textů a fotografií, nalezneme navíc část věnující se ověřování znalostí formou hry nebo testu. Stránky obsahují i část vodní bezobratlí, která byla zpracována v rámci bakalářské práce.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis was to compile a study guide to the subject the Field practice in zoology. The study guide is focused on terrestrial invertebrates. Thesis includes a list of commonly occurring species. For each taxon the Czech and scientific names and its position in current taxonomic classification are given. The chapters contain brief description of higher taxa and the description of main features of selected common species, including their preferred habitats. The description is accompanied by photographs. The work is supplemented by methodology of terrestrial invertebrates sampling. For this work a website was created, which also contains texts and photos. Furthermore there is a section dealing with verification of knowledge in the form of a game or test. The website also includes part of aquatic invertebrates, which was prepared in Bachelor thesis.
