Abstract:
Univerzální hašování je technika, při níž se hašovací funkce náhodně vybírá z nějaké třídy funkcí. Lze ji použít k autentikaci zpráv a extrakci náhodnosti. Parametr univerzality dané třídy udává, kolik funkčních hodnot je třeba znát, abychom byli schopni předpovídat funkční hodnoty v jiných bodech. Universal hashing is a technique in which one hash function is randomly chosen from a family of functions. It can be used in message authentication and randomness extraction. Universality parameter k of these functions equals the number of key-value pairs that are needed to predict values in other points.
