This master thesis is dedicated to the diagnostic of HiPIMS discharge. Physical properties of magnetron sputtering, advantages and disadvantages of HiPIMS compared to DC sputtering and diagnostic methods suitable for the study of HiPIMS discharge are described. Táto diplomová práca sa zaoberá diagnostikou HiPIMS výboja. Sú tu popísané fyzikálne princípy magnetrónového naprašovania, výhody a nevýhody HiPIMS oproti DC naprašovaniu a diagnostické metódy vhodné na skúmanie HiPIMS výboja.
