Abstract:
Anotace Tato práce seznamuje čtenáře s méně obvyklým nástrojem, který je používán především v orchestrální tvorbě. Pojednává o vývoji Wagnerovy tuby v průběhu několika hudebních epoch a dále o skladatelích, kteří se snažili uplatnit tento nástroj ve svých dílech. Pozornost je také věnována výrobní a zvukové problematice.
Abstract:
Annotation This thesis introduces the reader to less common musical instrument, which is used mostly in orchestral work. It deals with development of Wagner's tuba during several musical eras, and furthermore with composers who tried to apply this instrument in their works. Attention is also paid to production and sound issues.
