The Issues of Social Care in the Most Region

Abstract:

V první části této práce je stručně shrnut historický vývoj sociální péče v různých civilizacích, které stály za vznikem sociální péče. V práci je také obsažen výklad o formování sociální péče do roku 1918, za první republiky, v době okupace a transformačního období. Dále se v teoretické části nachází stručný popis počátků sociální péče na Mostecku. V praktické části je uvedeno financování sociální péče na Mostecku, typy sociální péče a ústavy, které nabízejí různé sociální služby. Hlavním cílem této práce je posouzení kvality sociální péče seniory na Mostecku, jaký oni mají nazor na sociální služby, které jsou jim poskytovány. Tento cíl se pokusím zjistit pomocí dotazování přímo seniorů formou ankety a další problém, který je uveden v praktické části je začlenění romské menšiny do naší společnosti, kde se město Most snaží pomoci formou příspěvků, dotací a poskytnutím terenních sociálních pracovníků.

Abstract:

In the first part of this thesis the historical development of social care in different civilizations is briefly summarized. There is also the interpretation of forming the social care until 1918, the First republic, during the occupation and transformation period. Further there is a brief description of the beginnings of social care in the Most region in the theoretical part. In the practical part there is the financing of social care in the Most region, types of social care and institutions offering various social services. The main goal of this thesis is the evaluation of quality of the social care for senior citizens in the Most region, their opinion on the offered social services. I will try to achieve this by questioning the pensioners through a questionaire. Further problem in the practical part is the integration of the Roma minority into our society, where the Most municipality tries to help through the means of allowances, subsidies and field social workers.
