Mineralogy of reaction zones of ultrabasic enclaves from Polnička and Pohled localities

Abstract:

This thesis is orientated to the research of reaction zones and their chemistry created around the inclusions of ultrabasic rocks in gneisses of Stražec Moldanubicum in active quarries in Pohled and Polnička. Two types of the inclusions occur at both locations: I. type corresponded with the metaperidotite serpentinite, II. type was dunite. A migration of the main elements from the inclusions through the reaction zones was observed in structures of biotite (phlogopite) and amphibole. A drop in Mg and Si content towards surounding biotite gneiss was proved in both types of the inclusions in biotite structure at Pohled quarry. Fe, Al and K content was rising reversely, towards gneiss. Na and Ca content was constant. A fall in Mg content towards gneiss and a growth in Fe content was detected within inclusions in amphibole structure at Polnička quarry. Al, Na, K, Mn and Si content was constant in the given type of amphibole. Ca content was rising/declining depending on the presence of calcerous amphibole in the concrete reaction zone.

Abstract:

V této práci byl zkoumán chemismus reakčních zón, vytvořených kolem uzavřenin ultrabazických hornin v rulách stražeckého moldanubika, v činných lomech Pohled a Polnička. Na obou lokalitách se nacházeli dva typy uzavřenin: I. typ odpovídal metaperidotitovému serpentinitu, II. typ byl dunit. Migrace hlavních prvků z uzavřeniny skrz reakční zóny byla pozorována v strukturách biotitu (flogopitu) a amfibolu. V strukuře biotitů v uzavřeninách obou typů v Pohledu byl prokázán pokles Mg a Si směrem k okolní biotitické rule. Naopak stoupal směrem k rule obsah Fe, Al a K. Obsah Na a Ca byl konstantní. V struktuře amfibolů z uzavřenin v Polničce byl zjištěn pokles Mg směrem k rule a nárůst obsahu Fe. Obsah Al, Na, K, Mn a Si byli konstantní v daném typu amfibolu. Obsah Ca stoupal/klesal v závislosti na přítomnosti vápnitého amfibolu v konkrétní reakční zóne.
