Abstract:

Podobností hledání pomocí knihoven vytvořených skupinou DISA je velmi efektivní, ale ne vždy snadné. Zatímco tvůrci a častí uživatelé je mohou být schopni použít pro libovolný úkol během několika minut, noví uživatelé mohou mít potíže s nalezením způsobu, jak knihovny používat. Tato práce se snaží tuto mezeru překlenout vytvořením testovací platformy, která pracuje s těmito knihovnami, ale zároveň se s ní snadno a pohodlně pracuje. Měla by se zaměřit jak na časté, tak na nové uživatele a umožnit jim efektivně pracovat s knihovnami pro podobnostní hledání. Uživatelé by měli být být schopni spouštět experimenty rychleji, ideálně pomocí několika kliknutí, a snadno reprodukovat stejné experimenty s různými proměnnými a statistikami.

Abstract:

Performing Similarity Searching using the libraries created by the DISA group is very effective but not necessarily easy. While the creators and frequent users might be able to use them for any task in minutes, new users might have difficulty finding out how to use the libraries. This thesis tries to bridge this gap by creating a testbed platform that works with the libraries but is easy to use and pleasant to work with. It should target both frequent and new users, enabling them to work with the Similarity Searching libraries efficiently. The users should be able to run experiments faster with only a few clicks and reproduce the same experiments with different variables and statistics.
