Abstract:

Instalace je tvořena pásem tří obrazů, tedy triptychem složeným ze tří černých LCD monitorů, o uhlopříčce 24 palců. Monitory jsou v těsné blízkosti u sebe,oddělené jen jejich rámečkem. Na každé z těchto obrazovek jsou video-záznamy tělových akcí, jež jsem prováděl na třech různých místech. V lese, na poli a v zatopeném lomu jsem uskutečňoval jakési rituály seznamování se s krajinou, a prohluboval tak svoji zkušenost s místem. Samotný rituál vypadal tak, že jsem se obnažený vtiskával do krajiny, a krajina se vtiskávala do mě.

Abstract:

The final installation is comprised by a belt of three pictures, therefore triptych made up of three black 24-inch LCD monitors. The monitors are situated close together with only their frames separating them. They are showing three ritual recordings, which were taken by me in chosen localities.The first ritual is performed in a forest, the second in water and the third on a field. Naked as I came to this world, I intuitively picked the spots for ideal contact in chosen localities. I tried to imprint myself into the landscape, and the landscape imprinted itself into me. This intimate moment further deepened my experience with the place.
