Newspaper as one of the factors that lead to the fall of the Qing dynasty
Abstract:
This bachelor's thesis deals with the development of Chinese modern newspapers in China after the arrival of Protestant missionaries in the 19th century. It focuses primarily on the impact of modern newspapers on Chinese society and the roles that newspapers played during key events, such as the Hundred Days Reform Movement of 1898 or the Xinhai Revolution of 1911. Táto bakalárska práca sa zaoberá vývojom čínskych moderných novín v Číne po príchode protestantských misionárov v 19. storočí. Primárne sa zameriava na vplyv moderných novín na čínsku spoločnosť a úlohy, ktoré noviny zohrali počas kľúčových udalostí ako hnutie sto dní reforiem z roku 1898, či Xinhajskou revolúciou z roku 1911.
