Children's literature and literature for youth in the world of press

Abstract:

The diploma thesis „Kinder- und Jugenliteratur in der Welt der Presse„ is dealing with the detailed analysis of the newspaper supplement Kinder- und Jugenliteratur in the reputable German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeitung. Readers meet with this supplement once a month, always the first Friday in the month. For more than ten years it has been run by Dr. Roswithy Budeus-Budde, one of the most recognized German critics of children’s literature. The analysis that is mainly focusing on the content and the structure of the page was done with the help of its 2008 issues. A substantial part of this analysis is devoted to books that are reviewed in the newspaper supplement. In the section dealing with the supplement Kinder- und Jugendlitertur, also the Czech painter Květa Pacovská has been introduced. She is the only representative of the Czech artistic word in this part of the newspaper in the mentioned period of time. The diploma thesis is also dealing with German magazines for children and youth, their history, development, current form and the current German market offer.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Kinder- und Jugenliteratur in der Welt der Presse„ se zabývá detailní analýzou novinové přílohy Kinder- und Jugenliteratur renomovaných německých novin Süddeutsche Zeitung. S touto novinovou přílohou se čtenáři setkávají pravidelně, vždy první pátek v měsíci. Již více jak deset let je pod vedením jedné z nejuznávanějších německých kritiček dětské literatury Dr. Roswithy Budeus-Budde. Analýza, která se zaměřuje především na obsah a strukturu stránky, byla provedena pomocí jejich vydání, které vyšly během roku 2008. Podstatná část analýzy se věnuje knihám, které jsou v novinové příloze recenzovány. V části zabývající se přílohou Kinder- und Jugendlitertur je také představena česká malířka Květa Pacovská, která je jediným zástupcem českého uměleckého světa v této části novin ve zmiňovaném období. Diplomové práce se také zabývá německými časopisy pro děti a mládež, jejich historií, vývojem, současnou podobou a aktuální nabídkou na německého trhu.
