Landscape Audit - Optimisation of Green Infrastructure on Agricultural Land

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou krajiny a optimalizací zelené infrastruktury na orné půdě. Literární rešerše je zaměřená na shrnutí vlivů zemědělství na krajinu a její ekosystémy. Dále vymezuje pojem zelená infrastruktura a některé možné přístupy k šetrnějšímu hospodaření se zemědělskou půdou u nás i ve světě. Na základě rešerše existujících přístupů k hodnocení vlivů vybraných činností na krajinu a veřejně dostupných informací o rizicích spojených s hospodařením na zemědělském půdním fondu byl navržen metodický postup optimalizace zelené infrastruktury. Metodický postup je určen pro zemědělské podniky, které na jeho základě mohou zavádět na ornou půdu multifunkční krajinné prvky. Návrh metodiky vychází ze standardů dobrého zemědělského a environmentálního stavu půd (DZES) a také zohledňuje možnosti zemědělského podniku. Metodika je tvořena dvěma komplementárními kroky – identifikace rizikových lokalit (na základě mapových podkladů, veřejně dostupných databází, interních zjištění podniku a terénního průzkumu) a návrh krajinotvorných prvků dle identifikovaného rizika. Metodika byla uplatněna na konkrétním podniku POOSLAVÁ Nová Ves, družstvo, působícího v Jihomoravském kraji v obci Nová Ves u Oslavan. V této části práce tvoří výstupy návrhové mapy prvků zelené infrastruktury na ohrožených pozemcích.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis pursues the landscape analysis and optimization of green infrastructure on arable land. The recherche of literature is focused on summarizing the effects of agriculture on the landscape and its ecosystems. It also defines the concept of green infrastructure and some possible approaches to more gentle management of agricultural land in our country and in the world. Regarding the recherche of existing approaches to assessing the effects of selected activities on the landscape and publicly available information on the risks associated with the management of agricultural land, a methodological procedure for optimizing green infrastructure was proposed. The methodological procedure is intended for agricultural enterprises, which can use it to implement multifunctional landscape elements into arable land. The proposed methodology is based on the standards of good agricultural and environmental conditions of the soil (DZES) and also takes into account the resources of the agricultural enterprise. The methodology consists of two complementary steps - identification of risk localities (based on map data, publicly available databases, internal company findings, and field research) and design of landscape elements according to the identified risk. The methodology was applied to a specific company POOSLAVÍ Nová Ves, a cooperative, operating in the South Moravian Region in the village of Nová Ves near Oslavany. In this part of the work, the outputs have a form of a design map of green infrastructure elements on endangered land.
