Opportunities for the application of shrubs in selected functional types of urban greenery

Abstract:

V první části práce byly shromážděny informace o vlastnostech a využití keřů. Dále je popsána práce s keři v jednotlivých funkčních typech zeleně a následně byly vybrány kategorie keřů uplatnitelných v městském prostředí. Na historických objektech byly představeny principy práce s keři v dané době. Dále byla popsána péče o keře a problémy, které se s ní pojí. V terénu a z dostupných zdrojů byly shromážděny analytické informace o řešeném území, které byly následně vyhodnoceny. Na základě získaných informací byl poté vytvořen návrh v rozsahu architektonické studie.

Abstract:

In the first part of the thesis, information on the characteristics and uses of shrubs were collected. Furthermore, the work with shrubs in different functional types of green spaces is described and then the categories of shrubs applicable in urban environments were selected. The principles of working with shrubs at that time were presented on historical objects. Furthermore, shrub maintenance and the problems associated with it were described. Analytical data on the study area were collected in the field and from available sources, which were subsequently evaluated. Based on the information gathered, a design was then created to the extent of an architectural study.
