Mankind has been suffering from diseases since ancient times. We fought against them mostly in symptomatic way until vaccination has been found. This bachelor's thesis offers an overview of available antivirals today. It analyzes their structure, mechanism of action, as well as their effect and use against particular viruses. Ochorenia spôsobené vírusmi sužujú ľudstvo už od staroveku. Až do objavenia vakcinácie sa proti ním bojovalo zväčša symptomaticky. Táto bakalárska práca podáva prehľad o dostupných antivírusových látkach. Zaoberá sa ich štruktúrou, mechanizmom účinku jednotlivých antivirotík v organizme, ako aj ich pôsobením a použitím voči jednotlivým vírusom.
