Mikroorganismy štěpící celulózu a jejich aktivita v bachoru jelena evropského
Celullolytic microorganisms and their activity in the rumen of red deer
Abstract:
The rumen microbial community of ruminants is one of the well-characterized systems capable of effectively decomposing biomass. The present is focused on microbial ecology in rumen of non-domesticated animals. Only some studies of the microbial ecology of wild ruminants have been presented so far. In this particular study, we have extended our knowledge in field of the microbial ecology of wild ruminants …moreAbstract:
Our findings suggest that rumen microbiomes of wild ruminants are more active and more effective in degradation of plant substrates. However, previous studies were not representative of microbial diversity in wild ruminant rumen, therefore studies of microbial diversity in wild ruminants should continue and should be expanded by means of isolation and characterization of new bacterial species and …more
