From Transformation to Europeanization

Abstract:

Tématem této práce byla konceptualizace pojmu evropeizace v rámci tvořeném koncepty používanými při zkoumání radikální sociální změny v zemích střední a východní Evropy, jmenovitě konceptů tranzice, transformace a konceptů třetí vlny. První kapitola práce tak byla zaměřena na definice a kategorizace samotného pojmu evropeizace. Závěr kapitoly je věnován evaluaci účinků evropeizace v praxi evropské integrace. Další část práce se zabývá radikální sociální změnou, jmenovitě definicemi a jejím dělením podle různých vln teoretizování, přičemž teorie typické pro tyto vlny jsou v závěru kapitoly podrobeny kritice. Konečně třetí hlavní část textu kontextualizuje koncepty, které byly představeny v předchozích dvou kapitolách.Pro dokončení transformačních změn je nezbytná resocializace, která je podmíněna vlivem Evropské unie. Tento závěr podporují výsledky, získané za použití politologických, institucionálně ekonomických a sociologických analytických rámců pro evaluaci a pochopení procesů evropeizace, přičemž je kladen důraz na sociologické konceptualizace radikální sociální změny tzv. třetí vlny (ovládnutí státu, restaurace, nedokončená tranzice, předčasná konsolidace).

Abstract:

The topic of this paper was a conceptualization of the notion of Europeanization in the framework of concepts used in analyzing of radical social change in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe, namely concepts of transition, transformation and of so called third wave. First part of paper thus was focused on definitions and categorizations of the notion of Europeanization itself. End of the chapter is devoted to the evaluation the effects of Europeanization in the practice of the European integration. Next part of the paper is concerned with the radical social change, namely its definitions and division according to different waves of thinking. Theories, typical for the constituent waves, are criticized in the end of the chapter. For the completion of transformational changes resocialization is necessary, which is conditioned by the influence of the EU. This claim is in the course of the paper supported by the results, reached from the politically scientific, institutionally economical and sociological point of view on the concept of Europeanization, sociological conceptualizations of radical social change of the so called third wave (state capture, restoration, incomplete transition and premature consolidation) are stressed in the process.
