Abstract:
Cílem předkládané práce je shrnout a srovnat nejrůznější teorie obecné sémiotiky od počátků (Ch. S. Peirce) až po současné přístupy (U. Eco). Následně se budu zabývat zkoumáním Pražského lingvistického kroužku (zejména J. Mukařovským), jeho myšlenkových předchůdců (J. Durdík, O. Hostinský) i následovníků (M. Červenka). Abstract:
The aim of this thesis is to compare and contrast various theories of semiotics from the early days of the field (Ch. S. Peirce) to the contemporary approaches (U. Eco). I will, subsequently, focus on the explorations of the Prague linguistic circle (particularly on J. Mukařovský), its predecessors (J. Durdík, O. Hostinský) and successors (M. Červenka).
