Tato bakalářská práce podává přehled o základních termínech nutných pro pochopení problematiky digitálního videa. Analyzuje bezztrátovou a ztrátovou kompresi, současné využívané kodeky či další technické a programové vybavení pro záznam, editaci a přehrávání videa. This bachelor thesis gives an overview of the basic terms necessary for understanding of digital video. It analyzes the lossless and lossy compression, currently used codecs and other software and hardware for recording, editing and video playback.
