Degradation of hydraulic fluid in mobile machines

Abstract:

Oleje jsou kapaliny, jejichž molekuly obsahují hydrofobní uhlíkové řetězce. Hyd-raulické oleje používané k přenosu momentů a sil jsou zařazovány do kategorie průmys-lových olejů. Jejich vlastnosti byly klasifikovány podle viskozitní a výkonnostní třídy. Oleje s časem, namáháním a použitím ztrácí své vlastnosti a důsledkem tohoto jevu mohou poškodit stroje a techniku. Právě proto je důležité sledovat jejich vývoj a hodno-tit naměřené výsledky. Sady vzorků v této práci byly odebrány standardizovanou metodou, která je dále uvedena v práci. Vzorky byly odebrány z celkem tří strojů stavební techniky. Pro jejich analýzu byly použity přístroje ke stanovení fyzikálních vlastností a přítomnosti kovů v oleji. Většina z měřených vzorků se ani nepřiblížil k varovným hodnotám pro otěrové kovy a kontaminanty. Avšak u jednoho vzorku byl zaznamenán téměř 80 % pokles jed-noho z aditiv. U stejného vzorku byl odhalen značný pokles viskozity, který více jak 100 % převyšoval maximální limit.

Abstract:

Oils are liquids whose molecules contain hydrophobic carbon chains. Hydraulic fluids are used to transmit torques and forces are classified as industrial oils. Their pro-perties were classified according to viscosity and performance grade. Oils lose their properties with time, stress and use, and as a result this phenomenon can damage ma-chines and equipment. That is why it is important to monitor their development and evaluate the measured results. Sets of samples in this work were taken by a standardized method, which is further presented in the thesis. Samples were taken from a total of three types of construction machinery. For their analysis, instruments were used to determine the physical proper-ties and the presence of metals in the oil. Most of the measured samples did not even approach the warning values for abrasion metals and contaminants. However, one sample showed an almost 80 % decrease in one of the additives. In the same sample, a significant decrease in viscosity was detected, which was more than 100 % above the maximum limit.
