The Salvation Army and Its Activity in Czechoslovakia in 1920s and 1930s
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na činnost křesťansko-humanitární organizace Armáda spásy na území Československa v období mezi lety 1919–1939. Popisuje její strukturu, oblast působnosti a sociální aktivity. Dále se věnuje konkrétním způsobům evangelizace, které Armáda spásy používala ve svém tažení. V závěrečné části uvádí práce některé ohlasy společnosti na činnost Armády spásy.
Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is focused on activity of Christian socioreligious organization, The Salvation Army, in territory of Czechoslovakia in 1919–1939. It describes its structure, domain and social activities. Thereinafter it deals with particular ways of evangelization, which The Salvation Army used in its campaign.
