Hlavním účelem této práce je poukázat na přítomnost transgeneračního přenosu traumatu u dvou vybraných představitelů americké židovské literatury, Jonathana Safrana Foera a Dary Hornové. V teoretické části budou vysvětleny pojmy trauma, PTSD, postmemory a další termíny ze zkoumané oblasti. Samostatné kapitoly budou věnovány přenosu traumatu a znázornění tohoto jevu v literatuře. Abstract:
The aim of the thesis is to focus on the transgenerational transmission of trauma in the works of the Jewish American writers Jonathan Safran Foer and Dara Horn. The theoretical part will define trauma, PTSD, postmemory and other related terms. Individual chapters will deal with the concept of trauma transmission and its representation in literature.
