The most common pathologies of movement in alpine skiing and the influence of physiotherapeutic intervention on them

Abstract:

Cílem teoretické části je souhrn aktuálních poznatků z oblasti techniky alpského lyžování. Jsou definovány pohybové patologie lyžařského postoje a slalomové techniky v alpském lyžování. Dále jsou nastíněny možnosti fyzioterapie u nejčastějších pohybových patologií alpských lyžařů. Cílem praktické části je zpracování případové studie lyžaře s nálezem pohybové patologie v podobě změněné kvality lyžařského oblouku. Je u něho provedena vstupní kineziologická diagnóza v podobě mírného omezení rotačního pohybu v kyčelních kloubech spolu s chybným provedením některých základních pohybových stereotypů. Na základě nálezu jsou zvoleny terapeutické intervence. Ve výstupním vyšetření je zaznamenáno zlepšení dechového stereotypu, schopnosti izolované relaxace svalů a provedení některých dalších stereotypů. V diskuzi jsou výsledky srovnány se současnými poznatky.

Abstract:

The aim of the theoretical part is a summary of up-to-date findings in the field of alpine skiing technique. Movement pathologies of ski posture and slalom techniques in alpine skiing are defined. Furthermore, the possibilities of physiotherapy intervention for the most common movement pathologies of alpine skiers are outlined. The aim of the practical part is the elaboration of a case study of a skier with the finding of movement pathology in the form of changed quality of the ski turn. The patient has minor restriction of rotational movement in the hip joints, along with incorrect performance of some basic movement stereotypes. Based on the findings, therapeutic interventions are chosen. The final examination showed an improvement in breathing stereotype, the ability to relax muscles and the performance of some other stereotypes. In the discussion, the results are compared with up-to-date findings.
