Opportunities to Support New Teacher´s Adaptation from the point of view of a Preschool Principal

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce je možnost podpory adaptace začínajícího učitele v mateřské škole. Kvalitní adaptace začínajícího učitele má klíčový význam pro jeho profesní rozvoj. Práce se zaměřuje na identifikaci začínajícího učitele, jeho kompetence, vývojové etapy a možnosti podpory. Výzkumná část se zabývá perspektivou ředitelů mateřských škol, zkoumá faktory adaptace a využívá kvalitativní metody, jako jsou rozhovory a analýza dokumentů. Získané poznatky ukazují na důležitost podpory začínajících učitelů a možnosti, jak tuto podporu efektivně realizovat.

Abstract:

The topic of the thesis is the possibilities of supporting the adaptation of beginning teachers in preschool. Quality adaptation of beginning teachers is crucial for their professional development. The thesis focuses onthe identicication of beginning teachers, their competencies, developmental stages, and support possibilities. The research part examines the perspecive of kindergarden directors, investigates adaptation factors, and utilizes qualitative methods such as interviews and document analysis. The findings highlight the importance of supporting begginning teachers and the opportunities for effectively implementing this support.
