Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá významnými ženami v moderní britské historii, konkrétně, Florence Nightingale (1820-1910), Emmeline Pankhurst (1858-1928) a Margaret Thatcher (1925-2013). Cílem práce je rozebrat jejich život a dílo se speciálním zřetelem na jejich přínos pro britskou společnost, politiku a pro Velkou Británii všeobecně.
