Set of furniture for interior use

Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá kompletním návrhem sady sedacího nábytku včetně jejího technického řešení. Navržený set obsahuje univerzální židli, hovorové křeslo a odpočivné křeslo. První část práce zaměřena na historii designu nábytku a průzkum současného nábytkářského trhu. V další části je podrobně popsán proces vzniku návrhu od prvotních skic až po tvorbu modelů a vizualizací. V závěrečné části práce je přiblížena funkce a materiálové složení navrženého nábytku.

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the complete design of set of furniture including its technical solution. The designed set consists of universal chair and two armchairs. The first part of the work is focused on the history of furniture design and research of contemporary furniture market. The following part contains description of designing process from initial sketches to creation of models and visualizations. In the final part of the work is described the function and the material composition of designed furniture.
