Incidence of the dilirium in geriatric cancer patients after general anesthesia

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá výskytem deliria u geriatrických onkologických pacientů. Je rozdělena na část teoretickou a praktickou. Teoretická část souhrnně popisuje problema-tiku geriatrického pacienta, specifika anesteziologických postupů u seniorů, charakteri-zuje delirium, podává základní rámec o terapii tohoto stavu – farmakoterapii, restriktiv-ních opatření. Praktická část shrnuje výsledky retrospektivního šetření. Cílem práce bylo zmapovat výskyt deliria a jejich jednotlivých typů u geriatrických pacientů, zjistit společné faktory vyskytující se u pacientů a objasnit terapeutické postu-py. Výsledky jsou okomentovány v diskuzi a závěru.

Abstract:

This theses deals with incidence of the disorientation delirium in geriatric cancer pati-ents. It is divided into theoretic and practic parts. Theoretic part provides description of geriatric patients problems, specifics of anaesteziological procedure in seniors, characte-ristic of delirium, brings delirium therapy framework – pharmacotherapy, restrictive measure. Practic part sums up the results of the retrospective examination. The aim of the bachelor work was mapping of the incidence of the delirium and sub-types of delirium in geriatric patients, determinating common factors and expounding therapeutical procedures. The are comments on the results at the discussion and final part.
